Graduations Over!

Hi everyone! Welcome back. I sometimes feel this is stupid as i don't have many see my page but i guess it still makes me feel good to write down thoughts. =) Sunday was my middle granddaughter, Jessicas graduation. The photo is Jessica and her grandpa Larry, Pooh as they call him. He's my sweet hubby. We went and watched her graduate. She is so smart! She gets straight As. She has her college all paid for and we think even her lodging. She will be starting her new life soon. We are all so proud of her! She told me she wants to be a teacher. She'll make a good one too. Doesn't grandpa look proud? =0) We went out to "grannie carols" home. That's what the grands call her. We had a nice potluck and lots of photos were taken. I'll post some soon. Carol has a wonderful home in the country with a pond. It's really lovely and peaceful. She had a huge cake made with Jessicas photo on it. I'll post that too. For now i just wanted to touch base and say "It's finally over!" LOL. I should say for 2 years, then my Jeanette will be graduating. Wow, time flies when your lifes fun. I'm a new great-grandma!

Today my oldest granddaughter, Julie, and her boyfriend, Justin, had a baby girl. Her name is Haley Anna and she came to see us at 4:48am or therabouts. =) She weighs in at 7.8# and is 19 3/4" long. She is just beautiful! I am so proud! Mom and baby are doing great!

I was ending the day yesterday with my car blowing up. My little red convertible is no more! I've loved that car for 17 years! So i thought well i guess it will have to get better. I was right! Haley came into my life and i know it will be better.

I made some new dolls and a few ATC cards that i will get posted. First i have to get the photos of Haley! =)

Well i'm bushed so i'm going to bed early. Thanks to all for being here. Blessings.

Lazy day?

Today i'm going to try and straighten up some of my craft things. I'm getting so i can't find a thing! LOL. Normal for a crafter? Thought i'd come in and show a couple more dotee dolls i made yesterday. What do you think? They are made from things sent to me in a swap and i wanted to show what i made. =) There are two. They are for swap. =)

Today i'm having a little trouble being grandma. My oldest (21 in April) granddaughter is going to move out of her dads home into her boyfriends friends trailer. I'm not real happy about this as she is due in April and i think she should wait until the baby is born to move. It's not my decision tho. I'm afraid she'll do it then he will not be nice with no one watching. If she leaves her dads home he will not let her come back. What do you think? Should i just forget it? After all, she is grown up she says. I've been up all night worrying about it. If i knew more about him i guess it wouldn't be so bad.

Well i guess i'd better get to that room! Need to change the bed too while i'm at it. LOL. I wish only the best for you all. Thanks for being here. I'll be having a dotee to give away in April for some lucky person. I'll let you know more soon. HUGS
